Eco-Logic Thailand is a down to earth, family friendly nature retreat in Paksong - Phato Village where everybody is welcome. It is 6.4 ha in size and located conveniently at the gateway to southern Thailand. Eco-Logic is well hidden off the beaten tourist track - yet easy to reach from the coastal town Ranong.

Eco-Logic Thailand is surrounded by a unique natural environment: waterfalls, hot spring national parks, mangrove forests, secluded beaches and uninhabited islands in national marine parks are just a day trip away!

Our slow food restaurant serves ‘farm to fork' meals, prepared with produce from our organic garden. Our "one million stars!" nature retreat aims to make sustainable travel available and fun for all!

To avoid the crowds - and maintain the right balance that is important with rural tourism - the accommodation at Eco-Logic offers only a few bungalows. The retreat has been a front runner in sustainable tourism and social responsibility since 2004.

Eco-Logic is especially set up to support the Thai Child Development Foundation (TCDF) - 100% of the profits of your stay benefits this local charity!

Conservation & Community Highlights:

  1. Organic farm and food forest provides all produce for our slow food restaurant
  2. We only work with local people and pay fair salaries
  3. Activities are organised in the area or national parks with local people
  4. Guests will get to know the real Thailand and are introduced to Thai culture
  5. Guests can participate in activities with our staff (the food forest project)

Future Aims:

  1. Cooperate with travel agencies on eco- and sustainable tourism
  2. Have volunteers helping the foundation and Eco-Logic with the work we do
  3. Build a network with other eco-lodges in Thailand for our visitors
  4. Teach people about organic farming on a bigger scale
  5. Work closely together with Thai schools on eco-tourism and voluntourism
