Kwetu Guest Farm is situated on a peaceful farm in Buffeljagsrivier – 11kms outside Swellendam, the third oldest town in South Africa. Get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The 87 hectares game farm offers self-catering cottages, two of which are alongside a dam, as well as two apartments at the main house.

Enjoy a tranquil nature reserve in which you can walk, jog, cycle and horse ride or take game drives to get close to the animals on site. Do bring your binoculars for bird-watching or your fishing rod as well! Alternatively, there is no better place to enjoy a picnic than on a farm among wildlife with amazing views and fresh air.

Conservation Highlights:

  1. Kwetu does not allow hunting of any kind, and you will be able to get close with most animals.
  2. You can encounter sable, bontebok, kudu, waterbuck, reebok, eland, springbok, and much more... smaller animals such as scrub hare, dassies and water mongoose.
  3. You may be lucky to observe numerous bird species including fish eagle, Stanley´s bustard, secretary birds and South Africa's beautiful national bird: the blue crane.
